Playa den Fornells beach is very natural with substantial sand dunes stretching inland. It is perhaps not the classical holiday resort beach but we like it very much. The main larger beach is reached via a wooden walkway. There is a small sand beach closer to the Holiday resort for the less mobil - but it may get more crowded.

Set in a big bay on the north coast Platja de Fornells is a typical example of keeping beaches more natural.

DO NOT wander into the dune systems!
