The Albufera de Es Grau ...más información is a Nature Reserve to the North of Mahon, half way between the capital and Port Addaia. It is the largest wetland on the island and comprises an extensive shallow lagoon, surrounded by farmland and low pine covered and shrubby hills. Poplular for many species of migrant and resident birds : several species herons, warblers, geese, birds of prey such as the harriers. Even flamingoes can be obeserved early in the year.

At the mouth of the lagoon lies Es Grau ...más información Fishing Village, harbour and beach. Offshore is the picturesue Island of Colom which can be reached by boat/Kayak
