Barranc d'Algendar is a beautiful Valley to walk to Cala Galdana or in the reverse direction

The Barranc/Gorge is seven kilometres long, making it half the island’s average width. The gorge’s steepest walls scale upto 80 m at. Often large birds of prey will be soaring above.

Access from Cala Galdana end - follow the river path.

The more dramatic top of the valley is accessed from main round-about outside Ferreries WEST! ( signs for Camí d'Algendar ) Pretty small track road that will bring you to dedicated parking. Foot access to valley ( see photo ) @ 200 mtrs.

This Cami is also a wonderful cycle route all the way to Ciutadella ~15k
