- Tourist Tax is calculated per person, per day with varying rates based on LOCAL property category and length of stay +10% VAT
- Balearic Tourist Tax Discount and Exemptions
- 50% reduction from 9th day of stay, 75% reduction Nov 1 - April 30
- Children under 16 free
High Season (May 1 - October 31):
- 5-star, 4-star superior, and 5-star luxury hotels: €4 per person per night.
- 4-star and 3-star superior hotels: €3 per person per night.
- 1, 2, and 3-star hotels and tourist apartments: €2 per person per night.
Low Season (November 1 - April 30):
- 5-star, 4-star superior, and 5-star luxury hotels: €1 per person per night.
- 4-star and 3-star superior hotels: €0.75 per person per night.
- 1, 2, and 3-star hotels and tourist apartments: €0.5 per person per night.

NOT at the AIRPORT
Tourist Tax is collected by your accommodation hosts in advance or arrival/exit at your accommodation (in most hotels). Payment is made in Eur - ask your host for payment methods

Rates: High season: from 1st of May to 31st of October. Stays up to 8 days: 1-4 Eur/Category/Adult(>16)/day. Stays of 9 or more days: 1-4 Eur /Category/Adult/day for the first 8 days, and 50% reduction for the following days. Low season: from 1st of November to 30th of April. Please note that the total maybe subject to 10% VAT depending on establishment.
