Beach Accessibility

Several of Menorca's beach resorts provide assistance including timber boardwalks access ( for scooters etc ) to the beach and Amphibious chairs. Wheelchair size toilets. And help is generally available from the red cross staff.

Resorts better suited to those with reduced mobility

There are several adapted beaches in Menorca for people with disabilities. These beaches have services such as lifeguards, access walkways, amphibious wheelchairs, adapted bathrooms, and other amenities to make the beach experience as accessible as possible.

Accessible beaches in Menorca: Santo Tomas, Cala Galdana, Son Bou, Cala en Porter, Punta Prima, Es Grau, Sa Platja Gran, Santandria and Binibeca/Binibèquer.

Bus Travel - while not guaranteed , Menorca's Bus companies have been re-fitting and purchasing new 'town style' buses adapted for people with reduced mobility. Fitted with access ramps for wheelchair users and a reserved space in the bus Note Bus services operated between larger Beach resorts can serviced by coaches with no adaptations.

Requests for free assistance - ( servicios asistencia sin barreras ) Support service for persons with reduced mobility can be requested at Airport Mobility Services - inc Booking,Meeting points ( 48 hours in advance ) .
