All About Son Bou beach plus our Insights

On the south coast with a dramatic wide coastal backdrop.

Due to a protected wetland nature area there is really only a single access point from a car park to the beach so this spot gets crowded with the lazy walkers ;-) ! Turn right to get away from any crowds.

Great for strolling walks in the surf, especially towards the lowering sun.

Swim shoes are advised as winter storms can cover some of the sharp volcanic rocks just under the sand.

Do take notice of the flags here as there are strong offshore currents. Keep children/weak swimmers inshore (40 meters max. from beach). Inflatables will drift left to right !

The farthest end from the resort is often frequented by nudists if you are shy.
