A large classical picture postcode beach set in a huge horsehore shaped bay with great views on the horizon. Backed with natural sand dunes and slopes. A wooden ( slatted ) board walk runs from the eastern end most of the length of the beach.

The water is very shallow which makes it popular with families with small children. Arenal has some of the larger hotels on the island so there is a full range of facilities including sunbeds, parasols, pedaloes and kayak hire. There is also windsurfing and water skiing available in nearby Fornells bay.
