Wine varieties and characteristics
Red : Often made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Syrah grapes.
White : Common white grape varieties include Chardonnay and Malvasía (which can have intense floral aromas). Other grapes used are Macabeo, Muscat, and Parellada.
Rosé : Dry rosé is mostly made made from Tempranillo and Syrah grapes.
