This is very subjective of course and children are very different. What is fact is that Menorca is very children friendly and they are welcomed in Bars and Restaurants all over the island. You will also not find any loud neon bars, or beach bars with drunken '20 somethings' to try to avoid. Most loud activities that could disturb youngsters sleep have to finish by 11pm by law.
The listed resorts are all ideal for family Holidays
Public buses are not practical for transfer from Airport ( you must always change at Mahon bus station ) so you will need either a shared or private transfer, Taxi or Hire Car. West coast resorts are often best via a transfer rather than Taxi due to costs - taxi circa 60-70 Eur one way. We recommend shuttle menorca.
Menorca tips - note despite the apparent many offers in Internet there are only three licensed companies who actually provide the service on Menorca, so ensure you know who you are booking with before paying.
An important little helper.
As you look around you might well get confused by place names: is Calan Porter the same as Cala D'en Porter, where is this placed called Mao, i'm looking for Mahon?
Tour operators, guides will often use Anglicised place names and lazy spelling. We give you all possible location names so you can find them locally. So Mao is correct, so is Mahon - they are the same place. Also some resorts merge one into another.
