The Isla del Rey is a tiny island in the middle of Mahon Harbour and owes it’s name due to it being the first land of Menorca to be reached by King Alfonso III when he arrived to conquer Menorca after many years of Muslim domination.

It was rumoured at one time to attract the buting attention of a worldwide musical superstar who has a long time connection to Menorca.
