Airport Shuttle Buses, Taxis & private Transfers - Menorca

Good to Know

Unfortunately Menorca Airport does not have public Airport / Shuttle Buses direct to any beach resorts. The Airport Bus (no.10) is not a great Transfer option - you must change at Mahon Bus station with a potentially long wait for ( multiple) bus connections your Holiday Resort -with own baggage.

Airport Taxis Can ony carry 4 passengers by law and don't offer child seats to book

Transfers included with Package Holidays could detour to some 'on the way' south coast resorts and include multiple hotel drop offs - Direct Transfer Times

Uber or cabify is currently NOT licenced on Menorca

Airport Transfer options - Taxi or Shuttle?

Daytime there are plenty of Taxis from outside arrivals and for 4 or less passengers to Holiday Resorts within 20km they represent the best value and convenience. For small children,larger groups, greater distances from Airport or Ferryport e.g. staying in West Coast resorts ( like Cala en Bosch, Cala en Forcat , Cala Blanca etc ) and where you need to guarantee a child seat ( spanish law ) we advise either pre-booked shared or private transfers.

Transfers with Babies and Younger Children

Public Airport Taxis do not provide child seats ( nor can be requested/booked ) so take your own travel child seats or book a private Transfer - it is illegal to travel in Taxi from Airport without correct child seating

Use FOC Airline baggage allowance to bring seats for Taxis from home. You need to tell the driver and it is YOUR legal responsibility to ensure correct/safe fitting.

We recommend Shuttle Menorca as they are a local ( english help line ) Menorca based bus organisation that has been in operation for many years and access to the majority of the available Transfer vehicles on Menorca. Easy safe online booking in advance ( 10 euro Cancellation fee ) or last-minute.

Shared Transfers are only available April to October whereas Private Transfers are all year round.
