For Teenagers there is snorkeling ( with sea scooter ) Archery, mountain biking and kayak hire as well as coastal boat trips. For teenage Horse lovers riding nearby.

Cala Galdana - Must Sees

Bay is very imposing and it is best viewed from the headland at the view point ( Mirador de Punta ) - follow the Avenuida de sa Punta road to the end then right. Alternatively follow path to Cala Macarella bu Audax hotel to headland.

Virgin Beaches close by in Cala Galdana

There are several delightful virgin beaches for the more adventurous to enjoy and can be reached on foot , boat trip or beach WaterTaxi or DIY no licence boat hire.

Cala Mitjana and Mitjaneta

Reachable by car (~10 mins.) from resort is Cala Mitjana und Mitjaneta. Reached on foot from the resort (~45 mins.)

There is also a wonderful coastal / inland walk to Cala Macarelleta and Cala Macarella duration approx. 50 Minutes. And then beyond to Cala en Turqueta, an exquisite beach ( 1 1/2 h).

Is a traditional island town occupying a beautiful location and providing a dramatic moment for all drivers as the main island road ME-1 meanders through a very picturesque and narrow gap in the hills. Ferreries is surrounded by beautiful hills and countryside and spectacular valleys ( Barranc d'Algendar ) and history. A great start point for scenic walks,cycling and horse riding. Two Menorcan Horse shows just outside town.
