Some really beautiful countryside around including coastal paths and bays.
Like most of Menorca this is more Natural, so don't expect too many cycle lanes. Better to use the off road tracks and marked routes as the little roads that make up much of the country network have lots of blind corners.
Cala en Porter is surrounded by pristine countryside criss-crossed with a network of tiny paths ( including official signed routes) camis and of course the increasingly famous Cami de Cavalls cosatal path which runs through cala en Porter
TIP western direction of Cami de Cavalls towards Son bou is more negotitable with mountain bike than eastwards to Es Canutells.
MTB in the valley behind the beach follow cami de cavalls route but turn - right see our maps

A few several clothes and shoe boutiques offering original items not chain store repetition. Childrens playground on the pretty town square (next to ice cream cafes!). Alaior has a weekly market plus an evening market (weds june-sept ) with Artisan goods, jewellery , other handicrafts and small boutiques.
