Is a very traditional menorcan island town occupying a beautiful setting - surrounded by beautiful hills and countryside with spectacular valleys and history. A great start point for scenic walks,cycling and horse riding. Good base for those looking to explore Menorca's natural attractions.
There is a regular bus service to Ciutadella and Mahon, with connections on route to other destinations.

Ferreries is a regular stop stop on the bus network allowing you to visit all parts of Menorca by bus. Bus Stop . During the main summer season you can travel on buses to south coast beaches in and around Cala Galdana

For those who want to add special holiday memories, this area is a real scenery, beach and nature lovers area as it is surrounded by pristine landscapes and virgin beaches to explore on foot, horseback or Mountain Bike. There are beautiful valleys and landscapes ( Algendar, Alocs ) with historical sites ( Castle of Santa Àgueda, Son Catalar ) to discover.
There are some beautiful trails along the rivers' valley floor as well as along the coastline on the Cami de Cavalls routes east and west.

A late afternoon / evening trip to Ciutadella day visit is a must to stroll around the old city, people watch at the many Cafe Bars, take in a Tapa or two and do some clothes shopping?

Supermarkets: there are several spread around the town at local's prices rather than inflated resort prices with everything necessary for a holiday.
Ferreries has one or two artisan boutiques in the old town featuring handmade shoes and jewellery. You really need to visit Ciutadella combined with a market day / night eg Capllonc night market there. Factory shops for one of the island's most famous upmarket leather shoes and goods manufacturer - Mascaro.
