Where to stay on Menorca 'out of season'
Discover the best places to stay in Menorca's low-season and in Springtime. Can you stay at a beach hotel ? Yes in a few locations.
Menorca's summer bustle winds down from mid to late October and the island's 'low-season' follows a slower pace through to the early warming sunshine of Spring. The focus is on Menorca's stunning natural beauty, coast and inland, and enjoying the local's favourite town bars and restaurants. Relax at Cafes terraces in the sun - by the waterside or the local squares where friends meet up.
Low Season Travel to Menorca
Menorca Myth
The island is 'closed' from October to May. Not true! It's true for most of the beach resorts with no or few residents.
Reading the forums and socials with residents posting sunny photos and you will soon realise that Menorca is more than just a summer destination but where to stay?
Ciutadella City
Ciutadella in the low season is a comforting wrap of tranquility with spanish style for the good things, taken at a slower pace than summer. A time to enjoy great Tapas, cafe chats and get that table at some of the city's most popular restaurants. The historical city centre is small , pedestrianised and an invisiting maze of beautiful architecturally rich and interesting alleyways and side streets - with surprises for the curious!
Endulge in some fantastic artisan food shops and patisseries (pastelerías), drink some velvety Vermouth (vermut) in local bars
