Binibeca Sights - Must Sees

Binibequer Vell

An attractive and well done mock up of a 'traditional fishing village' with selection of Restaurants and Bars. Though it can be loud if you are staying there as voices and particularly ladies high heels! fill the narrow passage ways.

If you fancy something a little bit more wild there is a very pretty virgin cove and beach ( Cala Biniparratx ) just up the coast westwards-follow the coast road to Binidali. A small limestone gorge with cut out caves near the sandy beach.

Cala Binipartrix - Valley and Virgin Beach

Along the coast between Es Canutells and Binibeca lies the pretty 'hidden' cove of Cala Binipartrix. A limestone gorge with a sandy beach at the end in a sheltered cove. Park and 10 min walk through the gorge bottom to the beach. (as a virgin beach there may well be piles of dead seaweed so take a little 'clearing tool' - if you don't like walking over it!

There are delightful narrow track lanes all around the north of Binibeca to explore - even the thwack of a cricket ball on bat at the nearby Menorca Cricket Club along the road to Biniparrell and Llucmacanes.

There are some lovely drives along idylic narrow country roads through the country side to the villages of Llucamanenes and Torret. Torret is picture postcard pretty, leave the car and just walk through it. There are also some highly regarded restaurants ( Sa Pedrera des Pujol, Sa Parereta d'en Doro, Pan y Vino ) . Llucamances is a pretty hamlet and just a further short trip to El Grill, a favourite rustic Bar Restaurant (in old farmhouse ) on the airport access road ( you passed it as you left the airport !) where you will find some of the islands best grilled meat dishes and chill out terrace for evenings.

Visit La Rueda Bar-Restaurant at Sant Lluis, which has a counter with nearly 3 meters of delicious Tapas.

Binibeca lies in the south east corner of menorca with a whole heap of holiday delights on it's door step - Pretty villages , Vineyards, Harbour side towns

Bay is spectacular and well worth a sundown background at a bar or stroll. Beautiful countryside and coastline dominantes in Arenal den castell - Perhaps a walk or 'Fun-Train' ride to Na Macaret Fisherman's Village with some good little Bars and small beach .

Solo,Group and Family Snorkelling

The bay is perfect for basic snorkeling as the water is very clear and calmed by the rock outcrop that is also a great spot for snorkeling away from the beach area. Our tip For Snorkel enthusiasts goto 'Caló Fondo', locally known as Ses Olles de Binissafúller, is a rocky cove, free of boats just beyond the large outcrop of Binibequer Vell - follow coastal road to Restaurante Club Náutico Binisafúa

Menorca Tip Call olla is the local host

The pristine waters of Menorca are a real holiday memory. They are amazingly clear so even with just a simple snorkel you will see lots, not murky haze. And because the water is in such good condition you'll see lots of fish too. Many, many of the resort beaches have shallow sandy bottoms fringed with rocks, ideal for young snorkellers. Organised trips make a great family day out with a Snorkel Safari or stop off as part of a Boat excursions. There are also marine reserves where organised tours visit.
