Binibèquer Vell (often written Binibeca Vell) is a picturesque whitewashed complex in a mock fishing-village style on the south coast of Menorca. It's known for narrow alleys, white washed buildings and a photogenic seaside setting.

How do I get to Binibèquer Vell from Mahón (Maó) or the airport?

By car it’s a short drive (about 15–20 minutes) from Maó and the island airport — follow signs for Sant Lluís / Binibeca. There are also local buses and taxi services; renting a car gives you the most flexibility to explore nearby coves.

Are there visiting restrictions or opening hours?

Due to overtourism and residents' concerns the the waterside residential area has introduced restricted visiting hours. The commercial part has no such restrictions.

Binibèquer Vell has two parts with a pedestrian area between that serves as the 'street' with the shops, bars and restaurants. On the waterside of the 'village' is a little promenade and boat ramp . Here are private and commercial apartments around a fake church spire - all this is what you see in all the instagram and tik tok posts . Please respect that it is a living residential development and only to visit this particular part of Binibequer Vell between 11am and 8pm .

In Summer a fun land train (...more) runs along the coast, linking Binibeca Vell , Binibeca Nou, Binibeca Beach (...more) ,Cala Torret, and Punta Prima (...more) runs till 10p.m in August .
