Aquaparks
For those of you with children or the child still inside you there a two main Aqua parks on Menorca. Both are located in the west of the Island. They can be found at Los Delfines 10 km from Ciutadella and at Cala en Bosch on the south west tip of the island.
They are not spectacular by standards in other places but they do offer the chance to let the children play while parents can "take a rest". Note opening/closing times!
Water Park - Aquapark Los Delfines
Is a collection of water and dry fun. Water slides and pools for big and small with trampolines and bouncy castles for smaller ones. On site basic food restaurant. Open from May - August daily from 10:30 until 18:30. Children under three are free. See web site for current opening times and prices. Reduced prices after 13:00

Afterwards you can visit Los Delfines commercial area with its wide variery of shops, Bars and Restaurants.
Water Park and Karting - Aquarock Cala en Bosch
Is a good clean collection of water fun and Go Karting. Staff are vigilant and the facilities clean and modern. On site Cafeteria. The waterpark is open daily from 10:30 until 18:00 children under two are free. The Karting track is next door open daily from 10:30 until 22:30 See web site for current opening times and prices. Bus no. 65 from Ciutadella. Open from May - October.
Menorca Holiday Tips
After 15:30 the water park entrance price is halved but closes at 18:00. Afterwards you can visit the nearby marina with its other small childrens attractions (Goody fun park ) with relaxation areas for mums and dads, have something to eat or just watch the world go by. Of the two waterparks this is perhaps the better one to visit.
Club Sant Jaime
A play and relaxation centre in the Son Bou Gardens area and open to all. Attractions include a large difficult wooden maze with water sprinklers during the day and "monsters" to chase you in the evenings (too scray for the little ones!) , water slides, various pools including baby pool. There two water chutes are on a pay as you go basis. Bar & Restaurant factilities, games room and Internet access. Features live music and other events.

Next door is a small commercial center with chemist.
Childrens Entertainment
Castillo Menorca
Is an out if town childrens entertainment area set in extensive attractive grassed gardens combined with an outlet store with lots of parking. Ideal place for the children to loose their energy and mums to well, do what muns do best at outlet stores. The outdoor entertainment has lots to climb on,swim in,bounce on and swing from. Bordering the outside area is a for menorca large Snack Bar with internet access. .
Open May - October. Open 10.00am-7.00pm. ME-1 Km point 35 - 7 km from Ciutadella.

There is a toddlers play area next to the Cafeteria so mums and dads can have a drink and keep watch. A pool for swiming with water chute, a pool for boating and shallow pool for splashing around in. The extensive grassed area has a varierty of small to big things to climb. Four big trampolines and other 'boucing fun'. Mini Golf, Sand pits. Climbing wall. Some of the equipment is old but that won't put the children off.
There is a large outlet shop with branded goods plus local 'souvenir' items. Next door is the Costa Nova Karting track , with decent sized track. Karting open from 10 am untill sunset.
Son Bou Bowling and Entertainment
Is a recently built indoor entertainment centre with modern bowling alleys as its main attraction and located in the resort centre. Features childrens playground, Bar Cafe and electronic games machines. Open from 4 or 7 pm , depending on time of year, 'till early morning.

Indoor Play Park
If you are un lucky with the weather and the small kids need to let off some steam the visit botipark at the Poligno , Sant lluis . They have scramble size inflatables and soft play area for children under 11. With refreshments for stressed parents too!

Lloc de Menorca Zoo
A tourist and educational ( island schools visit here regularly) park with a variety of animals ( dont forget the children here don't normally see some of these animals ) . Features a pleasant walk way through pens ( no cages ) of typically farm animals with some more 'exotic' lamas, monkeys and ostriches that will suprise the little ones ( look mummy a big chicken!). Small play areas and Cafeteria Bar.
