Mahon - Mao Carrer d'Isabel II Street Sights Mahon - Mao Guide @ www.mymenorca.info

Perhaps mahon's prettiest historic street...

Carrer d'Isabel II in Mahón, Menorca, is a historic street known for its 18th-century noble houses, many built during the British occupation.

Street full of former weathly homes and shows off the 'balcony' culture of the capital. The olde inner city features several large enclosed enclosed balconies 'Boinders' a delightful feature of old Mahon.

At one end is the Museum of Menorca (...more) at the other the square with the majestic Church of Santa Maria (...more) .

Some great harbour views points lead off this road ( Miradors ) down little signed alleyways.

We often show photos from summer peak and low season for contrast.
