Plaça del Bastió - popular little square in the old town...

Nice little square just off on the main shopping streets of Mahon, Carrer Hannover, (...more) that has some great eateries! and some suprises like @tabouret.menorca

Small childrens play area but the imposing site of the last remenant of medieval Mahon the Pont de Sant Roc (gate of Sant Roc) (...more) takes centre stage. Just off this north east side is the little alleyway, Carrer d'Alaior / Portal de Hannover, ( Artisan Jewellery (Posidònia) ) which leads to Carrer Hannover with a couple of treats.

Great eating and drinking around the Plaça eg Pigalle ( French bakery/patisserie/cafe) , Pipet ( artisan food ), Oyster bar , Can Xavi (top for tapas), La Charla ( wine bar ) , La Murda ( budget bar )
